Teen Darwaja

This triple-arched gateway was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah to serve as the royal entrance to the Maidan-e-Shah or the Royal Square. They also acted as the main entrance to the Bhadra Fort. These are huge and look very grand. Besides these there were many other gates to the fort which have not been demolished so as to preserve at least a part of the identity of the old walled city of Ahmedabad.
